Join AFP Vancouver and Central1’s Chief Economist, Bryan Yu, at Brewhall to catch up on the latest regional and global economic trends and connect with local finance professionals. Whether you’re looking to expand your professional network or simply stay informed, this event offers a valuable mix of knowledge and connection to wrap up the summer season. Speaker: Bryan Yu
As Chief Economist, Bryan authors many of Central 1’s flagship economic reports and speaks regularly at credit union and industry events. Bryan has become Central 1’s local celebrity, with his work featured by various media outlets including the Globe and Mail, BNN, Bloomberg and BC Business. He also sits on various treasury and risk committees within Central 1. Prior to joining Central 1 in 2010, Bryan held economist roles at the BC Real Estate Association, CMHC, and conducted academic research in immigration economics. He holds a MA in Economics from Simon Fraser University and a BA from the University of Manitoba.
Bryan sits on the boards of the B.C. Paraplegic Foundation and Canadian Association for Business Economics.
